Like Bulgaria, Romania sells mainly on price. On-the-spot prices, in particular, are very, very low. Provided you have correspondingly low expectations and provided you go to Poiana Brasov and not Sinaia you’ll probably come back content. If you have any interest in good living, and particularly good lunching, stay away.
