California? It means surfing, beaches, wine, Hollywood, Disneyland and San Francisco cable-cars. But it also has the highest mountains in continental USA and some of America’s biggest winter resorts, usually reliable for snow from November to May (one often remains open until the Independence Day holiday, the 4th of July).
