You go to Utah for the deepest snow, to Colorado for the lightest powder and swankiest resorts, to California for the mountains and low prices. You go to New England for … well, for what? Extreme cold? Rock-hard artificial snow? Mountains too limited to be of interest beyond New Jersey?
